Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala on Thursday recorded 13,773 fresh Covid-19 cases that pushed the total infection to 31,17,083 while the number of people who surrendered to the virus rose to 15025 with 87 deaths.
As many as 12,370 people have recovered from infection, taking total recovery to 29.82 lakh and the number of active cases in the state to 1,19,022, the release of the state government.
In the last 24 hours, 1,25,742 samples were tested and the test level (TPR) was found 10.95 percent.
So far, the sample of 2.49 crorses has been tested, he said.
Some of the worst affected districts in the country are Malappuram with 1867 cases, Kozhikode 1674, Ernakulam 1517, Thrissur 1390 and Kollam 1100.
From new cases, 57 are health workers, 56 has come from outside the country and 13,043 infected through contact with sources Contact is not clear in 617 cases, the release said.
