Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala recorded 29,322 new Covid-19 cases on Friday after testing the sample 1.63 lakh, pushing infection to count to more than 41.51 lakh.
With 131 people who gave up on the current virus, the death toll was installed up to 21,280.
Kaseload Covid-19 now stands at 41.51.455 with the addition of new cases.
The overall Coronavirus case has surpassed 41 lakh yesterday with the country recorded 32,097 new infections after testing 1,74,307 samples.
Meanwhile, 22,938 people were restored from disease on Friday took a total of heals up to 38.83,186, leaving 2,46,437 active cases.
The Minister of Health Veena George said 1,63,691 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and the test level of the test was 17.91 percent.
Until now, 3,20,65,533 samples were tested.
Among the districts, Thrissur reported the current number of positive cases – 3,530, followed by Ernakulam with 3,435 and Kozhikode 3,344.
“From those found infected today, 79 reached the country from the outside of 27,874 contracted diseases from their contacts.
The source of the 1.251 infection has not been traced and 118 health workers also among those infected,” Minister said in the release.

The minister said there were 296 regions under various local government bodies with more than seven percent of the weekly infection population ratio (WIPR).
There was 5,78,704 people in observations which were 33,458 in the path of isolation from various hospitals.
