Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala on Wednesday reports more than 30,000 cases of daily viruses, after a three-month gap, while the test level of the test (TRP) rose to 19 percent.
The southern state on Wednesday recorded 31,445 fresh coronavirus infections and tolls installed until 19,972 with 215 new deaths.
The last time Kerala passed the 30,000 mark on May 20 when reporting 30,491 cases.
TPR on Wednesday crossed a sign of 19 percent, according to the release of the state government.
While the latest surge in pushing the total number of infections to 38.83,429, the government announced an intensive screening program to reduce the spread of further transmission.
After the Onam celebration, medical experts predict that TPR will exceed 20 percent and the number of infections will increase further.

The release further said that as many as 20,271 people have recovered from infection since Tuesday, taking total recovery to 36,92,628 and the number of active cases to 1,70,292.

Among the districts, Ernakulam recorded the highest number with 4,048 cases, followed by thrissur (3,865), Kozhikode (3,680), Malakpuram (3,562), Palakkad (2,562), Kollayam (2,050), Kannur (1,930) Alappuzha (1,930) 1,874), Thiruvananthapuram (1,700), Idukki (1,166) Pathanamthitta (1,008) and Wayanad (962).
Of new cases, 123 are health workers, 138 from outside the country and 29,608 are infected through contacts, with a contact source unclear in 1,576 cases, the word release.
At present there are 4,70,860 people under supervision in various districts.
Of these, 4,44,278 was in the quarantine of the house or institutional and 26,582 in the hospital.

“Even though the number of Covid patients has crossed 38 lakh signs in the state, the government is still hiding health data associated with it.
This will prevent a growing strategy to fight the third wave of the disease,” he said at the press meeting here.
The lack of data analysis has seriously affected even research activities in the southern state, the leader added.
