Kerala Logs 54,537 New Covid-19 Case, 352 Death

Thiruvananthapuram: The number of Covid-19 cases in Kerala continues to increase, with the country that reported 54,537 cases on Friday taking infection was calculated to 58.81,133.
According to the Ministry of Health, 352 deaths were reported, encouraging deaths to 52,786.
Among the latest fatality, 94 was recorded over the past few days, while 258 was appointed as Covid-19 deaths after receiving an appeal based on the new central guidelines and the direction of the Supreme Court.
Yesterday, the country reported 51,739 new Covid-19 cases, while on Tuesday Kerala has registered 55,475 cases, a single single surge in infection since the plague of pandemic in 2020.
Among the district, Ernakulam reported the highest number of today – 10,571, followed by Thiruvananthapuram with 6,735 and thrissur 6.082.
The Ministry of Health said 1,15,898 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
“At present, there are 3,33,447 Active Covid-19 cases in a state of 3.5 percent being treated in various hospitals,” said the Ministry of Health in the release.
Meanwhile, 30,225 people were restored from this disease, taking a total of recovery up to 54.94,185.
