Jaipur: A youth congressional worker from Kerala’s Kollam, who cycled into the Parliament Building in Delhi to protest the increase in fuel prices, unemployment, and the problem of farmers, reached Jaipur on Thursday and met the leader of the Pilot Sachin Congress.
It took 35 days to Rafi Kollam to reach Jaipur.
He will reach Delhi on November 13 and meet the national president of the Srinivas BV Youth Congress.
He will also attend the March parliament to protest the increase in fuel prices on November 20 before leaving for Kerala.
Rafi, who has worked in Dubai as a previous human resource manager, said he began a journey with a cycle to connect with people and understood their point of view of Congress and its prospects.
According to interactions with people from various layers of society on the way, in some states it is a caste factor playing against the Congress, while in countries such as Gujarat and Maharashtra, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has used the police and the country.
