KOLLAM: Four family members were found dead in Neeleswaram near Kottarakkara on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Rajendran, 56, from Poojapura House, Karukya Nagar, Neeleswaram; His wife Anitha, 48 and children Adithya Raj, 24, and Amritha Raj, 20.
Anitha and Amritha’s body was found in their room, and Aditya’s body was in the hall.
In other rooms, Rajendran’s body was found hanging.
Ten years ago, Rajendran, a car driver in Neeleswaram, returned to his home place after working abroad.
The police are working on the hypothesis that the debt burden that occurs in home construction may be a reason for Rajendran to use extreme steps.
Construction of houses, starting 10 years ago, unfinished.
Rajendran takes a bank loan for home and has reports that there is a default for loan payments.
However, their relatives and friends said they did not have a feeling that the family faced financial difficulties.
Neighbors said they did not hear any sound that was not desirable occurred until the end of the night.
According to them, the lights were at Rajendran’s house until 10pm.
