Thiruvananthapuram: The hard work of the doctors and the health system helped the state maintain a mortality rate of 0.4%, health, family welfare, and the Minister of Development of the Children of Veena George on Wednesday.
Speaking in the background of the doctor’s day, which fell on July 1, the minister said for the past one and a half years the doctors had opposed the pandemic to ignore their own health and also members of their family.
Touching on the increasing incidence of attacks on the doctor, he said it was the responsibility of the government and the community to protect them.
