‘Kerala model needs to evolve’

Kerala had to make serious efforts to release the economy from the grip of the underground mafia, he said.
Harilal said civil services must further achieve qualitative increase to effectively handle the challenges that arise.
“There must be further improvement in civil services in harmony with global economic change.
The absence of leadership and knowledge in various government departments is also a serious challenge for the transition of Kerala,” he added.
“Democracy faces serious threats from capitalism throughout the world.
Therefore, we need a standpoint of development outside the capitalist development system that is not a all-inclusive model,” he added.
