Kerala: Online mode for class to IX in the state of January 21

Thiruvananthapuram: Offline teaching will be stopped for class I-IX for two weeks from January 21 in the state.
The situation will be reviewed in the second week of February and further decisions about expanding online classes will be taken that day.
If school or other educational institutions become clusters, it must be closed for two weeks.
All of these decisions were taken at the Covid review meeting chaired by Head of Pinarayi Vijayan’s Minister on Friday.
However, students in class X-XII will have offline classes.
It has also been decided to regulate vaccination facilities at schools for students aged between 15 and 18 years.
The chairman of the minister urges that more stringent restrictions must be imposed in districts where the test level of test (TPR) is more than 20%.
In these districts, only 50 people must be allowed for an event.
If more people must be accommodated for certain functions, the organizer must request permission from the district administration.
If the district has TPR more than 30%, then no function (inside and outdoors) may not be permitted.
All functions and meetings in the government and other offices must be done online.
All pregnant women must be allowed to work – from home.
The review meeting observed that the spread of Covid was very high in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam.
Therefore, the Ministry of Health and local bodies must impose more stringent restrictions in areas where the cluster has been formed.
Although the government has decided not to completely close and close the business company, meeting reviews observed that shops and companies must promote an online business to avoid crowding.
Restrictions must also be applied in shopping centers for which detailed guidelines will be issued.
The district administration was each requested to control the crowd at the mall.
Restrictions at the Sabarimala Temple must be controlled and those who have booked online to visit the temple after 16 Jan must avoid their journey.
The review review decided not to force night at night hours and weekend hours for now.
It has been decided to review the situation again if the circumstances change get worse and introduce restrictions as a necessity.
