Thiruvananthapuram: Although the number of Covid cases in the country has crossed 38 lakh, the government has not released health data related to Pandemi, opposition leader V D Sathean has said.
Talking with the media here on Wednesday, the opposition leader said that the government’s reluctance to share data would be a setback to formulate a strategy to deal with the third wave of pandemic.
He said that the lack of analysis of Covid-19 health data had even affected research activities in the state.
Sathean added that the control measures of the Covid-19 government had failed fully.
He said that contact contacts, which is very important when a person becomes covid-19 positive, is a failure in the state.
While the prescribed norm is when someone changed Covid-19 positive, 20 people related to the person must be tested, in the state, on average only 1.5, he said.
When the government collected RS 817 Crore on the Minister of MINISTER OF THE MINISTER MINISTER through the Vizine Challenge, the government only used Rs 29 Crore from the funds.
He said that funds must be spent on providing subsidies to private hospitals for vaccination drives.

With the government loosen limiting locking in the state, more people have often experienced public placements, opposition leaders say that Covid-19 control has been hijacked by several IAS officials, including the health secretary.
He quotes that the tariff per bed in a public ward in a permanent government hospital at Rs 750 per bed is an example of this mismanagement.
“The minister has not made a decision to attract this high level.
The administrator must also use common sense instead of signing anything given in writing by officials,” he said.
He said that even the minutes of Covid-19’s review since July 2021 was not distributed outside.
Only 30% of the tests carried out by the state are RPCR tests, while the rest are unreliable antigen tests.
At the same time, tests in countries like Tamil Nadu are 100% RT-PCR tests, he said.
Even when the government claims that Covid-19 management in the country is the best, the country is above the list with the highest number of Covid-19 patients in this country, he said.
