Thiruvananthapuram: State units from the Congress Party can be changed if KPCC recommends and AICC supports it, Secretary General AICC Tariq Anwar said here on Thursday.
He said that if needed, more members can be installed on the Committee, and the KPCC president will take steps to deal with complaints.
The party will continue with all leaders into confidence and by holding discussions with all senior leaders.
The Political Affairs Committee will continue to function, because it has an advisor’s body role.
If needed, the political affairs committee can be expanded, he said.
He said that party membership distribution effectively occurred in the state.
He said that on his way to the state capital with the former Main Minister and Secretary General of AICC Oommen Chandy, he discussed political issues in detail with him.
Chandy, who has another day of meeting the President of Sonia Gandhi, was studied to complain with the functioning style of current state leadership.
