Thiruvananthapuram: The Covid-19 Daily case in Kerala continues to fall on Sunday.
There were 11,136 fresh infections and 146 deaths that took calculations up to 64.07.383 and 62,199.
From death, 11 reported in the last 24 hours, 58 occurred in the past few days but not recorded due to the delay in receiving documents and 77 was designated as Covid-19 death after receiving an appeal based on new guidelines at the center.
And the direction of the Supreme Court, the official press release said.
With 32.004 more people recovered from viruses since Saturday, the total recovery reached 61.84,080.
Because of the number of recovery of more than new cases, active cases fell to 1,60,330, the release said.
60,414 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
Among the 14 districts, Ernakulam recorded the highest by 1,509 cases followed by Thiruvananthapuram (1,477) and Kollam (1,061), the broadcast said.
Of new cases, 81 were health workers, 56 from outside the country and 10,331 were infected through contact with the source unclear in 668, the release said.
At present there are 3,05,540 people under supervision in various districts, including 2,98,745 in the quarantine of a house or institutional and 6,795 in the hospital, the release said.
On Saturday, the southern state reported 15,184 cases while the number of active cases was 1.81,347.
