Thiruvananthapuram: The country has reported 13,956 new Covid-19 cases from 1,30,553 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
A total of 81 Covid deaths have been confirmed, taking dead in the state to 15,350.
At the same time, 13,613 patients have recovered, and at present, there are 1,25,041 people in medicine in the state.
TPR is at 10.69%.
Among new cases, 13,214 cases have been infected through local transmission.
The contact source infection cannot be traced to 617.
Malappuram reported the highest number of cases – 2,271, followed by Kozhikode (1,666), Ernakulam (1,555), Thrissur (1,486), Kollam (977) and Thiruvananthapuram (977).
So far, 30,2052 people have recovered from viruses.
2.53.41,594 samples were sent for testing until now.
There were 4,05,176 people under observations throughout the state, where 3,80,382 were at home or institutional quarantine center, and 24,794 in isolation at the hospital.
