Thiruvananthapuram: The country on Thursday recorded 3,404 new Covid-19 cases when 56,580 samples were tested.
Among new cases, 904 people have not been vaccinated.
However, 1,776 people tested positive on that day doubled.
The total active case throughout the country was 34.171 and only 8% of them were hospitalized for medical care.
Among the positive cases reported on Thursday, eight people came from outside the country.
An official statement said 97% of people in the age of shelter have been given at least one vaccine dose and 72.6% of the population in the age that can be expressed has received a dose of vaccine.
T’puram (633), Kozhikode (523) and Ernakulam (501) watched the highest number of Covid-19 cases that day.
Regarding the death rate, the official record confirmed 36 deaths that day.
However, 284 deaths have also been included in Covid’s death statistics on Thursday, taking the toll amount to 43,946.
