Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 4,450 positive cases of Covid-19 of 57,722 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases, 3,793 people have taken vaccinations and 1,125 people tested positively on that day have not taken a single dose.
However, 2,218 people among new cases were those who had taken the two doses.
With 23 deaths again that occurred in the past few days recorded as Covid death and 138 deaths added to the appeal received, total Covid deaths in this country have now become 41,600.
At present, the total active case is 43,454, where 7.6% of people are received both to hospitals or other treatment centers.
At the same time, 4,606 patients have recovered from the virus.
Among new cases, 4,163 people have been infected through local deployment.
Infection’s contact sources cannot be traced to 226.
There are 35 health professionals among those infected and 26 people arrive from outside the country.
Thiruvananthapuram reported the highest number of cases (791) followed by Ernakulam (678), Kozhikode (523), Kollayam (484), Kollam (346), Thrissur (345), Kannur (246), Idukki (193), Idukki (193), Idukki (193)), Malappuram (158), Alappuzha (147), Palakkad (141), Wayanad (128) and Kasaragod (51).
