Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 6,676 positive cases of 68,668 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases, 5,657 people had taken vaccinations, 2,217 had taken both doses, and 1,804 did not even take a single dose.
The current total active case is 83,184, where 10.2% of people are received in hospitals or other treatment centers.
Meanwhile, 60 Covid’s death was reported, taking dead in the country to 26,925.
At the same time, 11,023 patients have recovered from the disease.
Among new cases, 6,331 cases have been infected through local deployment.
Contact sources of infection cannot be traced to 267.
Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases with 1,199, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (869), Kozhikode (731), Thrissur (736) and Kannur (436).
There are a total of 3,02,818 people currently observing in various districts, where 2,92,736 are in their homes or institutional quarantine centers and 10,082 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 211 wards in 158 local bodies have more than 10% WIPR.
