Kerala reported 8 new omicron cases took the 37th counting

Thiruvananthapuram: The total cases of Omicron reported in the country have become 37 with 8 more cases tested positive for new variants.
Among the 8 new cases, each of the Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam and two of them from Alappuzha, Ernakulamp and Thrissur.
The case reported in Thiruvananthapuram has come from Russia on December 22.
The positive case of Kollam came from Namibia on December 16.
The case reported in Alappuzha came from Qatar on December 11 and December 17.
Both cases reported by cones from England and UAE respectively on December 13 and 18.
One case reported in the thrissur came from Kenya on December 13 AMD the second case was the connector of this traveler.
From here, one case reported in Ernakulam was a 3-year-old child who came with his parents.
But parents have been tested negatively.
All positive cases are isolated in various hospitals and their contact lists are being prepared.
Meanwhile the first Omicron case reported in Ernakulam has been tested negatively and has been dismissed from the hospital.
