Kochi: After a 4-day loose, Kerala entered below 10,000 cases on Saturday – 9,470 – and 101 deaths, took cooperatives to 47.84.109 and the toll road to 26,173.

The Minister of Health Veena George said there were 1,13,132 cases of Active Covid-19 in the present country, where 104 percent of patients had been received at the hospital.
Among the district, Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases on Saturday – 1,337, following B y Thiruvananthapuram with 1,261 and thrissur, 930.
Meanwhile, 12,881 people were restored from this disease, taking a total of recovery in the country to 46.44.211.
“From those found infected today, 54 contracted diseases through their contact while the source of infection 8,971 has not been traced.
Forty-eight health workers are also infected,” Minister said in the release.
In the last 24 hours, 88,310 samples were tested, he said, added that there were 332 wards in 227 local self-government agencies in the state with a weekly infection population ratio above 10 percent.
There were 3,66,250 people in observations in the state, of which 13,399 were in the isolation route from various hospitals.
The Minister also said that 93.3 percent (2,49,34,697) of the targeted population of Kerala had been given the first dose of vaccines, while 43.6 percent (1,16,59,417) had received the second dose.
