Thiruvananthapuram: The country on Sunday reported 5,080 positive cases of Covid-10.
Among new cases, 4,399 people have taken vaccinations and 1,359 people don’t even take a single dose.
However, 2,323 people among new cases are those who have taken both of these doses.
The current total active case is 58,088, where 7.2% of people are accepted either in hospitals or in other treatment centers.
Meanwhile, 40 deaths recently confirmed as Covid, took the death toll in the state to 37,495.
At the same time, 7,908 patients have recovered from the virus.
Among new cases, 4,776 cases have been infected through local deployment and infection sources in 252 people unknown.
There are 24 health care professionals among those infected and 28 people have arrived from outside the country.
Ernakulam reported the highest number of 873 cases followed by Kozhikode (740), Thiruvananthapuram (621), Thrissur (521), Kannur (361), Kollayam (343), Kollam (276), Wayanad (228), Pathanamthitta (206), Malappuram ( 203), Palackad (175), Alappuzha (143) and Kasaragod (83).
Wise details of the district that tested the negative country was: T’Puram (1,392), Kollam (741), Pathanamthitta (560), Alappuzha (278), Kottayam (526), Idukki (874), Ernakulam (874), Thrissur (938), Palakkad (283), Malappuram (178), Kozhikode (683), Wayanad (451), Kannur (397) and Kasaragod (93).
There was a total of 1,92,768 people currently observing where 1,87,604 were in their homes or institutional quarantine centers and 5,164 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 46 wards in 39 local bodies have more than 10% WIPR.
