Thiruvananthapuram: Indicates that it will not facilitate the pressure of the part of the secretariat employee, the government has transferred the revenue department officials separated from information about illegal tree logging, under the RTI Act, to the post outside the Secretariat.
The government transfers Salini O G, which serves as under the Secretary in the Revenue Department, as an assistant director in a higher secondary part of the General Education Directorate.
The government’s movement comes at the time the Secretariat’s Action Council has launched a protest against the government seeking the recovery of “good service entries” which canceled for officials and the elimination of the Jayathilak’s main secretary (income) from the post.
With its transfer, the government has transferred all officials who have opposed the previous department’s decision that has caused a controversial order on October 24, last year, which was used by legal breakers to cut large amounts of trees illegally.
Previously, Jayathilak had issued orders on Thursday, canceling a good service entry from Salini, quoting that the integrity of the officers was doubtful.
Interestingly, on April 1 this year, that another command was released to give him a good service entry, quoting that he “was an inspiration, the right guide and superior officers were good for the assistants as officers.” After the income department’s file came out in public under the RTI Act, he was also forced to take advantage of leave for two months, reportedly after being warned by a higher one.
Previously, the government had moved the additional Secretary of Girija Kumari G and Bency J, from the income department.
While Girija Kumari has written a strong note to oppose the issuance of orders on October 24, last year, Been is the President of the Pro-UDF Secretariat Association (KSA) and also the organizer of the Action Secretariat who protested Jayathilak.
