Thiruvananthapuram: The work of cleaning and sanitation of schools will be held from October 20 to 30 with public participation, said Public Education Minister V Sivankutty on Thursday.
The decision was taken at a minister’s meeting with representatives from teacher organizations and youth organizations.
And 38 Teacher Organizations and 19 Youth Organizations participated in meetings that discussed preparations that need to be placed to be returned to schools at 1.
Cleaning work in each school will be led by each collective.
The meeting also decided to ensure that all teachers, parents and school employees have taken two covid vaccine doses before the reopening of the school.
Collective people, according to the decision taken at the meeting, will take responsibility to ensure that there are enough masks, pulse cleaners and oximers in each school.
The Minister will hold a meeting with a representative of trade unions, trade unions, mayors and President Panchayat District in different time slots on October 2.
The meeting of Deos and Aeos will be held on October 3, in connections with the reopening of the school, planned at 5.
All meetings will be held online.
