School authorities must ensure the waiting room, vaccination room, and observation space.
The school vaccination session will be associated with the nearest Covid-19 government vaccination center, Veena George said.
During the meeting, it was decided that school authorities had to prepare a list of students who received Covid-19 vaccination in one day and to notify students about the time given to them.
The authorities must ensure that all students who qualify for vaccination have completed registration on the co-win portal.
The minister further informed that all security measures along with thermal scanning students must be ascertained before vaccination.
In addition, children who have temperatures will not be given a dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
After vaccination, children will be observed for 30 minutes and school authorities must ensure an ambulance with oxygen facilities if there are children who face health problems.
They will shift to the nearest bad event after the treatment of immunization management (AEFI).
The Covid-19 vaccination team will consist of medical officers from the Ministry of Health, Vaccinator, nurse staff and support staff provided by the school.
It is directed that all sessions will be carried out in accordance with the Covid-19 protocol.
Meanwhile, Kerala reported 18,123 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours, said the State Health Department on Sunday.
