ThiruvananThapuram: The group manager in the Congress Party in the state, who has lost the handle after the change in the leadership in the Parliamentary Party and at the KPCC, has now advanced with complaints against KPCC K Sudhakanan president and opposition leader V D Satheani.
Group managers argue that new leadership is weak and the party is not strong enough as opposition in the state.
They even said new leadership did not discuss any issues in the party and no party meetings were held.
Interestingly, this was a complaint raised by neutral leaders for years when the managers of the group ruled perched in the party.
Now, they level the same accusations against Sudhakanan and Sathean.
The group manager was upset for improving the reorganization that took place at the KPCC and DCC level when party leadership had decided not to give up on one of the group manager’s requests.
All DCC presidents are being changed and the discussion of this has begun.
The KPCC President did not bring group managers into confidence during the discussion.
AICC has provided a clear message to Sudhakaran and Sathean that the carrier of the new party office must be appointed by achievement and no affiliate groups must be considered.
All 14 DCC will get a new president and party leadership in the state wants to complete the reshuffle before the end of August.
It has also been decided to end the practice of forming a Jumbo Committee at the district and KPCC levels.
The new committee with a maximum power of 51 members will come at the KPCC level and in the DCCS collective opinion is to limit the strength of the committee between 10 and 15.
Hassan to continue as Convener: The High Command Party has told the state leadership that MM Hassan will continue as UDF Conveners.
There is speculation that it will shift from the post.
