Thiruvananthapuram: Discussion to complete the carrier of new office for KPCC executives entered the final stage in New Delhi with KPCC K Sudhkaran president and opposition leader V D Sathean filled the high command leaders on Saturday.
The Secretary General of AICC Tariq Anwar is inches from the affairs of the party’s state unit, said the list of new office carriers is likely to be announced in one or two days.
He said talks were in the last phase and fresher faces would be given the opportunity to serve the party this time.
Sudhakaran, after talks with Anwar, said the list will be completed today (Saturday) itself and the declaration can be expected at any time on Sunday.
Sudhakaranan and Sathean meet with the Secretary General of AICC K C Venugopal and also senior leaders, An Antony K.
Anwar will hold final talks with the leader of the Senior Party Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala before giving a final form on the list.
AICC leadership is trying to avoid controversy while announcing a list of new office carriers since the announcement of the DCC president has caused a large controversy.
AICC wants to complete all the differences in the party in the state and to announce a list that can be accepted by all senior leaders.
Therefore it is studied that some new and young faces and women will be given the opportunity at this time.
Sudhakanan has explained that there will be no Jumbo Committee at this time in KPCC.
He has demanded AICC to limit the new committee to a maximum of 51 members, which will include, Vice President, General Secretary, Secretary and Executive Member.
