Thiruvananthapuram: It was Arun Revenge (28) who was dressed in a 20-year-old Gayathri solar for more than two years which eventually peaked in his murder.
He was attacked sadly on Monday afternoon and then gave up on his injury.
Police said the defendant and the victim had a very cloudy past.
The victim’s mother is a physically challenged woman who sells lottery tickets at the Kallingal Junction near Nedumangad, near the State Beverage Corporation outlet here.
The victim used to help his mother from a very young age after school hours.
The defendant met Surya Gayathri in 2017 while visiting liquor stores.
He was immediately friends with a 16-year-old Gayathri solar and his mother.
“When his family had to empty their rental house, Arun who helped them find a new house near Aryanad.
Immediately he also began living with them and promised to marry the girl, a senior police officer said.
The problem arose when the defendant began to control it too much.
The police said that even though Arun returned to stay at his own residence in Peyad, the girl’s family still wanted to marry her.
When she refused their request to live with them again, they responded by filing a complaint against her accusing her cellphone and chant.
