Kerala to add 7,000 Covid-19 deaths to the official list

Kochi: The State Government decided on Friday to add 7,000 pandemic victims with a list of official deaths, although opposition protests accused reporting Covid-19 deaths in Kerala.
State Minister Veena George said 7,000 more deaths, which occurred before the hospital began to upload the death data online, it would be added to the Covid death list in the state.
The hospital began to upload Covid-19 death online in June this year.
This is the death that has not been documented and added to the official death list, he told reporters here.
When this problem appeared in the agency today, the minister rejected the opposition allegations that a large number of Covid victims’ families in the country were denied compensation ordered by the Supreme Court and said there were no families deserved from financial assistance.
in the southern state.
George Said Kerala is the first in this country to establish a Covid Death Assessment Committee in accordance with the guidelines of the accelerated central revision and proceedings to provide a Covid Death Certificate to family members free of complexity.
The new information portal was also developed to help family members from those who were not included in the list of pandemic deaths to register their names online, he said while returning notifications looking for UDF motion led by Congress.
Those who face difficulties in registering through digital means can enroll in their nearest primary health center too, he said.
“Registered family worries will be completed in the next 30 days,” George said.
Anyone’s death within 30 days of the entry as a Covid patient in the hospital will be considered a Covid death, he said, adding that a command has been issued to distribute Rs 50,000 as a financial assistance from such people from state distress assistance funds.
“The state government has acted very quickly to implement direction according to the central new guidelines.
We move forward with a clear, concrete plan and deadline to ensure assistance to all applicants,” said Minister.
The LDF government has a strong policy that compensation should not be rejected for feasible families, the Minister added.
However, opposition leader V D Satheesan accused that the southern state faced a terrible situation that tens of thousands of covid victims were rejected decent financial assistance.
The government was reluctant to let go of the dead before June 16, he said, added that they also violated the ICMR guidelines that the death of people, suffering from deadly diseases such as cancer and who died of Coronavirus infection, must be considered death.
The country has not announced other financial assistance besides the compensation of 50,000 Rs which was ordered by the Supreme Court.
P C Vishnunath (Cong), who is looking for notifications for Mosi, accused 60 percent of Covid’s total deaths in India reported in Kerala.
However, the speaker M B Rajesh denied going away for the movement based on the response of the minister.
