Kerala: UDF Convener M Hassan, Former Minister of Chandy Hit Oommen Head in the Government Fraud Bank

Thrissur: The LDF government has protected the defendants involved in fraud in the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank, the former Minister of Chandy and UDF’s Oommmen chairman held Mu Hassan who was suspected on Saturday.
Talking to reporters in Chalakkudy, Chandy said it was impossible to believe that one or two bank staff could enjoy fraud with the size.
He alleged that the government, department and CPM had learned about the fraud at least in 2018 itself but there was no action taken until recently, he said.
Hassan said the cooperative sector in Kerala had never seen such fraud.
He visited the house T M Mukundan, who had ended his life allegedly after receiving notification of loan recovery from Bank Karuvannur, and said the government had to support him when he died of the authorities irregularities.
BJP State Secretary, President of Nagesh and Aneeshkumar Regency has demanded an external agent investigation into allegations that CPM had deployed simplified funds from the Bank for various elections in the district.
Local BJP leaders in Karuvannur released an image where the former Minister of Cooperation and CPM leader A C Mooideen and Kareem Biju, the key accused of Scam Bank Karuvannur, looks together.
The photo was taken during the inauguration of the supermarket in Irinjalakuda.
The BJP leaders accused that Moideen and Kareem were brothers, and that they had signed several financial transactions.
Moiden rubbed the accusation and said he did not have relatives in the caruvannur.
He said the photo was the public function he attended when he was still a minister.
BJP leaders swept this accusation to cover the shame they faced because of their involvement in the case of the theft of Kodakara Highway, Moiden accused.
