Thiruvananthapuram: The Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected a special leave petition seeking a suspension of the Semester Btech exam done by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
The APEX court rejected the petition submitted by 29 students from various technical universities in Kerala praying for cancellations of offline examinations and conducting the same online considering the spread of Covid-19 deployment.
The Kerala High Court also issued a similar command before.
The previous university stated that students who could not write a test because Covid-19 and related problems would be given another opportunity and that this would be considered their first opportunity.
Considering this, the Supreme Court allows the university to continue the pre-schedule exam, the university authority is informed.
