Kerala Watches 29,471 Cover Covid-19 Fresh, 824 deaths

Thiruvananthapuram: The Covid-19 Daily case in Kerala saw a slight increase on Tuesday, compared to one day ago, with a country that recorded 29,471 fresh infections that raised Kaseload to 63.23,378.
The southern state has reported 22,524 cases of Covid-19 on Monday.
Kerala on Tuesday also reported 824 deaths that raised the total deaths in Kerala to 59,939, according to government liberation.
From death, 28 reported in the last 24 hours, 205 were those that occurred in the last few days but were not recorded because of the delay in receiving documents and 591 was determined as Covid-19 deaths after receiving an appeal based on new guidelines from the center and the direction of the Supreme Court, the release said .
With 46,393 more people recovered from viruses since Monday, total recovery reached 59,79,002.
Because of the number of recovery more than the new Covid-19 case, the active case in the country fell to 2,83,676, the release said.
On Monday, the number of active cases was 3.01.424.
A total of 95,508 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
Among the 14 districts, Ernakulam recorded the highest number of cases with 5,676, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (5,273), Kottayam (3,569) and Kollam (2,806).
The remaining district records less than 2,000 cases.
Of new cases, 232 are health workers, 92 from outside the country and 26,963 were infected through contact with the source was unclear in 2,184, the release said.
At present there are 4.51,107 people under supervision in various districts, including 4,42,162 in the quarantine of the house or institutional and 8,945 in hospitals, the broadcast said.
