Thiruvananthapuram: Kilimanoor Police have arrested a 40-year-old woman on charges of financial fraud at a private finance company where she worked.
The police identified the defendant as Deepa, 40, from Andoorkonam.
He worked as a Kilimanoor branch branch assistant from a private finance company.
The police said the alleged fraud was revealed after the audit conducted at the branch by a senior official company.
They found that he was suspected of committing fraud through various methods.
One of them is to happen to payments made by people who use gold loans from the company.
When someone completes payment and retrieves the gold ornaments they persuade, he will not close the loan in the register.
On the contrary, he will replace the gold ornaments returned with gold rolls and cash siphon paid by customers.
It was also found that he made the benefit of money by utilizing gold loans using identity documents delivered by the company’s customers.
