“When the authorities can start the spirits stores, then the government is hesitating to start areas of worship, libraries and even theatre halls?” He asked.
He said the authorities must immediately open these people areas depending on the TPR in every area.
The authorities must make it obvious what had been the simple standard in determining that liquor stores can be started when other people utilities should stay closed,” he explained.
The people are facing acute financial crisis and therefore the government must open cinema halls and similar public utilities that have been severely impacted as a result of lockdown.
“Already many countries, that had more higher TPR compared to Kerala, are coming back into regular life.
If they could relax limitations, why Kerala hesitates to achieve that?” He asked.
In opening up the public transportation, the government hasn’t done justice whatsoever.
The authorities should make it possible for all public transportation to function by only keeping Covid protocols.
The government has given sanction for many offices both at the private and government industry to work.
Therefore there a demand for adequate transportation facilities, the KPCC leader stated.
He explained the weekend lockdown was unscientific and it wasn’t likely to bring down the amount of instances.
“When you’re opening all of the stores on Fridays and also the folks float the roads in huge amounts within a day, what’s the purpose in shutting down the whole system for the subsequent two days” Sudhakaran requested.
