Kerala’s legislative assembly session starts today, 43 Pending Procedures

Thiruvananthapuram: The third legislative session of the 15th Kerala legislature will begin on Monday.
The 24-day session is likely to take 43 pending procedures before that.
However, the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), who will meet on October 6, will decide the number of bills that can be taken for law during the session.
Seven bills have been registered for discussion in the first two days.
The remaining bills will be decided after BAC meeting on Wednesday.
Kerala Public Health Bill, Bill Medical Practitioner Kerala, etc., are some of the main bills that are delayed before the Assembly.
This session will end on November 12.
This is the first time the session intended exclusively for the law is being held.
The opposition has accused that the state faces regulatory and government government is not sincere in bringing these procedures before the Assembly.
However, this session was arranged to witness intense political debates on various problems.
The ruling front member will add enthusiasm for several leaders of the congress who joined the Marxist fold, opposition led by the Congress has a series of problems to be raised against the government.
From the first day, the alleged police support for Monson Mavunkal, including the former Head of the State Police Loknath Behera, would be a hot topic of debate.
Opposition tends to seek investigations that do not side with the alleged fraud and seek the removal of Behera from Kochi Metro.
However, UDF will be at the recipient’s tip if the finance department bench produces the KPCC presidential link K Sudhkaran with Mavunkal.
Leaders like V M Sudheer have demanded the CBI probe into alleged fraud, and CPM is likely to use it as a weapon against Sudhakanan.
The ‘narcotics jihad’ episode will be another problem taken by the opposition.
Congress has demanded meeting all parties into it but was rejected by the minister’s chairman.
Congress believes that it is the main minister who makes the situation worse by not making a clear government government.
Covid situation will also appear for other debates in this session.
Although the opposition supports the reopening of educational institutions and providing relaxation in other sectors, anomalies in Covid’s death data will be raised.
