Thane: anti-narcotics cells (ANC) in the city of Thane Maharashtra arrested a 31-year-old man for allegedly having a ketamine drug worth Rs 11.12 lakh, said an official on Friday.
Acting on the tip-off, a team of ANC put a trap at the location of Anand Nagar Road Ghodbunder and caught the allegations of Vaibhav Narendra Singh on Thursday, Jaimala City Police said Witave.
The allegations were allegedly found to have ketamine drugs worth Rs 11.21 lakh, he said.
A violation based on the Narcotics Law and Psychotropic Susebtansi (NDPS) has been registered with the defendant, which has been returned to police custody until September 20, the official said.
The probe is underway to find out the contrary sources and to whom it will be sold, he added.
