VARANATION: The main Imam Kashi Vishwanath Temple PT Shrikant Mishra inaugurated the sale outlet of Khadi handmade paper sandals near Godowlia Crossing on Friday.
The worshipers and temple workers will use this sandal, which can be purchased at a nominal price of Rs 50 per partner.
Chairman of Khadi and Desa Industries Corporation (KVIC) Vinai Kumar Saxena also joined the ceremony virtually.
He said that sandals ‘use & throws’ made of handmade paper will maintain the chaos of temples and at the same time will also save hot and cold service during hard weather conditions.
This sandal is made of 100% environmentally friendly material.
