New Delhi: Like the cumulative season rainfall in this country touching a level that is almost ‘normal’ with a deficit reduced to less than 1% on Saturday, the overall area of Kharif (summer) plants in India across the ‘normal’ area threshold by more than 8 lakh hectares.
Although the areral is still less than the area seduced by the period in accordance with last year, the higher than the ‘normal’ area is always considered good for the year of harvest because it shows the possibility of synchronous agricultural output with an average of the last five years, specifically when India consistently reported the production of Padang Grass higher year after year since 2016-17.
Data of the Ministry of Agriculture showed that the area of Kharif’s plant was an 848 lakh hectare as on Friday (July 30) compared to 840 lakh hectares of the ‘normal’ (five-year average) area of the appropriate period.
Increasing the area with almost 1% completely synchronous with the distribution of rainfall in this country.
The rainfall data of the rainy season from the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) shows that the country has received more than normal rainfall in 12 of the last 14 days since July 18.
Regional data analysis shows that it was the same period when the country began reducing this year’s gap this year compared to 2020 and finally crossed the ‘normal’ threshold by almost 1% on July 30 which was supported by rice sowing, grains, sugar cane, and cotton during that period.
The previous deficit was mainly due to the arrival of the rainy season in northwestern India which had influenced sowing punjab, Haryana and the parts of the West Pradesh Western Pradesh.
“If the rainfall rate continues as India experienced during July 13 when the rainy season covered the entire country, the overall area would definitely achieve closer to the sign of 2020, if not more.
There is a possibility of the least amount of the ‘normal’ sign,” said a person Official.
