SRINAGAR: Vice President of the National Conference Omar Abdullah on Sunday condemned the Chief Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar states that the offer of ‘Namaz’ in the open space will not be tolerated, by saying the decision is wrong and clearly means that one particular religion is targeted.
He said there was total freedom to practice someone’s religion in the country.
“Haryana CM’s statement and his decision was truly wrong,” Abdullah told reporters after a party in the Ananthnag District of Kashmir Selatan.
“I will accept it that this ban is in every religion, but by choosing this and choosing, it is clear that the target is a certain religion that is not permitted by the constitution of this country,” he added.
Abdullah said, “This is not India” where Jammu and Kashmir have been acceded.
“J-K has accessed secular India, tolerant,” he said, adding, adding a statement “this (Khattar) was very small”.
Asked whether the People’s Alliance for the Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) – Amalgam from the six mainstream political parties seeking the recovery of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir who was revoked by the Center on August 5, 2019 – was United, said Abdullah, “it was United and will continue his struggle”.
“The fight will continue.
If there is a need to bring some changes in that matter, we will do that.
There is no second thought that our ruler does not like PAGD.
There was a previous attempt to weaken PAGD.
One of our colleagues is separated from PAGD with one pretext Or else, “he said, referring to the Conference Lone-Lone-LED Conference sajad with the Alliance earlier this year.
He, however, said the rest of the PAGD constituents “understand this design” and “will not let them succeed”.
