Gurgaon: The month after the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) offered soil to the National Highway Authority (NHAI) as an alternative site for Kherki Daula Toll Plaza, the shift has not made progress.

GMDA, however, has a different view – Nhai, he said, dragging his feet.
A Nhai official said from the total land offered to them for shifts, a piece of 0.4 hectare still in litigation, which is why they hesitate to receive land.
“We have asked GMDA for the right coordinates of this package again.
However, they have not shared information with us,” the official said.
GMDA Chief Executive Sudhir Rajpal said, “We offered them land, but they had not made progress since then.” Asked about land parcels under litigation, he said Nhai was “just making a reason”.
While sources refer to the implementation of Fastag as a reason behind the project that loses steam, it is said that the waiting time in the Toll Square has been shortened, it does not complete thousands of major problems of local residents to pay the victim to travel in the city.
Many new gurgaon sectors have emerged on the other side of the toll square because city urban boundaries have developed significantly, which leads to the years of protest by residents to eliminate the square from the location.
“At our last meeting was held, NHAI officials said the entire system was automatic and the queue had been shortened in the toll road.
They are now dragging their feet,” Rajpal said.
In March this year, GMDA had written to Nhai to take over 30 hectares of land in the village of Pachgaon to shift the toll plaza.
Both the state government and trade union ministers for road transportation and Jalan Raya Nitin Gadkari have announced that the toll plaza will shift.
Gadkari previous year said the shift will be completed in August 2022.
The government of the State of the State of Land in Pachgaon where the Toll Plaza must be shifted after the High Court empties staying in the acquisition in January, placing for disputes between the Industrial Corporation and Haryana state infrastructure and landowners.
The High Court also formed a committee to resolve litigation problems on the ground.
The committee successfully completed all except the patch of 0.4-acre, which was called the “insignificant” GMDA to the project.
