Nagpur: Although Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) shows notice to BJP MLA Krishna Khopde clearly states that the quarantine of his house continued until January 19, politicians stepped up for public events on Wednesday.
It began with a meeting with the city police commissioner Amitesh Kumar, whose department has registered a violation of Khopde only the day before.
Nagpur Mla Timur raised fears over violations of house isolation guidelines, standing firm on his statement released Tuesday.
“I was given a green signal by NMC Health Officer Dr.
Sanjay Chilkar.
And I have been without symptoms now for days, therefore it’s not a problem at all,” Khopde said.
When asking about notification of the NMC showcause clearly mentioned January 19 as the last day of quarantine, Khopde did not agree.
“No, no, it’s not like that.
They have issued a showcuse notice so now I will give my reply.
You will get clarity when I write it,” Khopde said.
However, Khopde did not reply to the notification of showcuse by NMC in a 24-hour deadline.
NMC also did not take any action on Wednesday.
NMC officials even said they did not receive any letter from the lakadanjang police looking for details.
A day, Pi Amita Jaipurkar told Toi that the letter was sent to the Civic body looking for details when Khopde was tested positively and what guidelines for house isolation.
The city police commissioner not only met with a partial delegation, but also looked close to physical closeness with MLA in the photo taken there.
The top police told Tii, he did not realize that Khopde would be part of the BJP delegation.
“Also, the symptoms of MLA appeared on January 12, so the Isolation of seven days ended on January 18,” Kumar.Leater said, on Wednesday night, a complaint was submitted with the police station aware by the Jwala Dhote social activist against Khopde and CP for the rules of used isolation Used, and the latter allows him to access his office.
He had asked the police to examine CCTV footage at the Gymkhana and Commissioner’s office, and took action against the police commissioner.
The leaders who accompanied the Khopde office to CP had different interpretations of house isolation guidelines.
Former MLC Anil Sole and Nagpur Central Mla Vikas Kumbhare said, “We asked Khopde about this before meeting CP.
He told us that isolation was only mandatory for five days according to the Guidelines for the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR).
Khopde also said that he ended him Isolation only after consulting with a related doctor.
Therefore, there seems to be no problem in this matter, “they said.
Cabinet Minister Vijay Wadettiwar said he was disappointed that public representatives denied the Covid-19 set guidelines.
“We hope that openly chosen people must be the first to follow the norm.
If he gets along in public, although mandated by the authorities to remain in house isolation, it is truly wrong and we will follow up this,” Wadettiwar said .
“These rules have been placed for the safety of both, patients.
The cabinet colleague Sunil Kedar said Khopde should lead by giving an example.
