Bhubaneswar: Because Covid cases continue to fall throughout the state, Khurda and Cuttack continue to remain a point of problems with the remaining daily infections in two digits.
While Khurda added 532 cases in the last 24 hours, Cuttack saw 160 fresh infections.
The two districts contributed 28% from 1629 new cases.
Except for two regencies, coastal districts affected by other worst ones have reported cases in two digits – Kendrapada (47), Jajpur (84), Jagatsinghpur (67), Bhadrak (76), Puri (38) and Nayagarh (38).
These districts have provided many reasons to the state government to be worried.
The central team has visited Jagatsinghpur when cases began to explode there.
However, experts hope that with the neighboring regency infection down, it will reflect the Khurda and Cuttack too.
“It is very logical to say that if the neighboring coastal district sees a continuous downward trend, then it is a matter of time that the situation in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack will also be controlled.
Because everything is open now, with intra-state buses also run, Bhubaneswar remains vulnerable because this is Country transit point.
This is a good sign that if we manage infection spread in coastal interior, it will have a positive impact on the capital and cuttack of its neighbors, “said Ajay Parida, Director of the Institute of Life Sciences (ILS).
Bhubaneswar on Tuesday reported 286 new cases against 234 recovery.
Recovery images in July most remain under new-day infections, thus raising active cases.
The capital of capital now has a positive active case of 2015.
A little more than two weeks ago, active cases have dropped to 1192.
Covid’s deaths rose to 5,634 with the government on Tuesday confirmed 60 deaths again.
