Saarbrücken (Germany): Top Indian Shuttler Kidambi Srikanth sailed to the second round of men with a straight straight game victory over the Japanese chef’s Watanabe at Hylo Open Super 500 tournament on Wednesday.
The sixth seed Srikanth beat Watanabe 21-15, 21-10 in 32 minutes.
However, Prannoy HS made the first exit while compatriot Sourabh Verma advanced to the pre-quarter-finals after receiving a walkover in the tournament previously known as Saarlorlux.
