Kidnapped for child workers, teenagers returned home

Lucknow: Shackled in the iron chain before going to bed, every night Satayendra dreams of freeing himself from his masters in the hope of returning home and hugging his parents away more than 1,000 km from him.
At the age of 11, the boy was kidnapped by a truck driver in 2018 after he was offered a sedative food in Dhaba (restaurant) at Lucknow-Sitapur Highway.
When he regained awareness, he found himself tied in a truck behind the driver’s seat.
Then, the driver allegedly sold Satayendra to the owner of a large livestock outside Amritsar in Punjab, where the boy was forced to commit labor.
“There are half a dozen other teenage boys from various countries brought to the warehouse for workers’ work.
Our work is feeding livestock and keeping a clean warehouse.
We were given a new identity – I was called Shiva and was asked to wear turban,” Satyendra said, Coming from Mahona Village from the police limit of Itaunja in the Lucknow-Up District.
“They used to attack me and made me feel hungry if I insisted on being sent home.
The moon passed and I received my fate but never forgot my parents and village,” Satyendra added.

Sangeet Sharma, Coordinator of Childline Lucknow, said, “The Childline Amritsar unit carried out an attack with the local police at the location distributed by Satayendra, but there were no other children under the age found.

In Lucknow, local police Not doing their work and failed to submit FIR.
If the child did not escape from his abductor livestock, he would not return home.
