Hyderabad: A 17-year-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped in West Bengal was saved in Chikadpally on Friday.
The police said that the kidnapping case was registered with West Bengal.
Based on the information provided by West Bengal police in Hyderabad, the city police traced the location of the cellphone tower accused of Chikadpally.
The police invaded the room where the victim was held by the defendant.
The victim was saved and shifted to the center of Sakhi and the defendant was handed over to West Bengal Police.
The police said that a case was waiting at the Khanakul police station in West Bengal, where his parents filed a complaint.
The defendant was alleged to be the victim’s trade to Hyderabad.
