Bhubaneswar: Times Higher Education (The) World University Rankings has announced the world’s best university rankings for 2022.
The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (Kiit) Bhubaneswar, which is considered a university, and the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela (NIT) ranking in ribbons 801-1000.
While IIT Bhubaneswar received rank in the band 1001-1200, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) which was considered the University of Bhubaneswar got a place in the Ribbon Tape 1201+.
The Kiit’s official source said the institution jumped over 200 positions globally in the ranking announced on Thursday.
“This is a significant increase from last year when it has reached 1001+ rating.
The Kiit performance makes it a number one university in Odisha,” said the official communication of institutions.

Achyuta Samanta, the founder of the Kiit and Kiss, said, “Kiit’s performance in this ranking is important because this is a multi-disciplinary university with 28 faculties.
If it became an institution that offers only technical courses, it will achieve a much higher ranking.”
This ranking is an annual publication of university rankings during higher education (The).
Parameters that broadly include teaching, research, quotes, industrial revenues, and international outreach.
The Indian Science Institute, Bangalore, ended with the Indian Institute received by the rank of the world university.
