The collector has asked the team to expand personal assistance to the family of Covid victims who cannot file complaints online.
Previously, Vimala had urged management of setu outlets in the countryside and Apple Sarkar to help in online applications.
The source of the collector’s office states that the eight member team headed by the collector will filter the application.
“Redressal cells complaints have also been formed to handle complaints,” said an official.
“The closest KIN of the victim must submit an application through the Mahacovid1relief.in website attaching a certificate of death, Covid death proof, the certificate does not object from the family, the details of the bank and evidence of identification,” said the official by adding the procedure and filing is stored as simple as possible.
Under the supervision of Vimala, DDMA also released videos made to explain the application submission procedure with website details.
Many applicants experience technical barriers while applying for an application to make the road to the collector’s office.
An official said this process was launched recently and still developed through modification and improvement.
“Applicants must wait some time to see if they receive any response or close the complaint complaint cell,” the official said.
