Vadodara: Families of 108 emergency service pilots (drivers) in the Chhota Udepur, who surrendered to Covid-19, received monetary assistance of Rs 50 Lakh on Tuesday.
Raman Bariya (45) contracted a virus during the second wave and died during treatment at GMERS Medical College and hospital in Gotri in Vadodara on May 12.

After Bariya’s death, district administration and emergency services initiated the process so that his family could get help under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan package.
