Ranchi: Members of Parents and Families Assistant Police Personnel, who sit in Dharna who are not limited to Morhabadi land here, holding Dharna and demonstrations in their respective home districts on Thursday.
Personnel are in Dharna in the capital for more than a month now demanding regularization of their services.
One of the protesters, Amit Kumar Mishra, said, “Our guardian took a demonstration in our respective districts and held a protest in front of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner.
Rallies were held in 12 regencies affected by extremists where we had been appointed for helping the police.” During protests, relatives raised slogans who said that the demands of police assistant personnel made sense and justice must be done to them.
Personnel are in Dharna which is not limited since September 27 and on Thursday, they protested from 11am to 3pm in supporting demonstrations held by their parents.
Other Protester, Vivekanand Gupta, said, “Even though one month has passed, no one from the government has approached us for talks.
We should not be a victim of political competition.” The BJP government had previously appointed around 2,500 police assistant personnel in Girech, Chatra , Dumka, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Gumla, Simdega, Tattoo, Khunti, Palamu, Lohardaga, and Garwah District in 2017 contracts.
