Gurgaon: The family of a 27-year-old railroad accident has accused that the civil hospital in Faridabad gave his body to the wrong family of Madhya Pradesh who did the last rite.
After that Sonu, who used to collect and sell garbage to the run of his family, did not go home from work at Ballabgarh earlier this month, his mother began to look for it.
A few days later, on January 13, when he learned that someone had died while crossing the railroad tracks, the family approached GRP.
“A female police personnel showed us pictures of my brother’s body,” said Pooja, Sonu’s younger sister.
When the family went to a civil hospital, they knew that the body was lost from the morgue.
Then, they were told that hospital staff had handed it to a family in Madhya Pradesh, who even did the last ritual.
“We continued to ask for the body, so we could see my brother over the last time but due to negligence from the hospital staff, the body was handed over to the wrong family at Madhya Pradesh.
We are the poor and this is our fate,” Pooja added.
However, after the Intervention of Faridabad GRP, the family received Abu Sonu.
“The problem has been resolved.
It was confusion and had been cleaned,” said a police officer “he was not someone who was supposed to die.
I can’t even see it last time,” said Pooja.
