Nagpur: Kingpin at AVNI Jewellers Jewelry of Kanha’s robbery Aka Govind Harishchandra Pande (27, a resident of Uttar Pradesh) has been arrested by police Jaripatka from his home country.
The police took the defendant to the city, produced it before the judge and secured his cosher.
The police have also restored Jewelry worth RS6.38 Lakh from Kanha’s residence in Raniganj in the Pratapgarh district.
On July 5, armed robbers had looted ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh at the point of weapons from Avni Jewelers.
Acting quickly, the Nagpur City Police, with the help of Jabalpur police, has arrested Virendra Yadav (26, a resident of Pratapgarh) and Deepak Tripathi (24, residents of Allahabad) within a few hours after.
Kingpin Kanha and his girlfriend Vandana Pandey, however, succeeded in avoiding arrest.
Based on the interrogation of the arrested Duo, the police have arrested Vandana and made him two in this case.
Under DCP NEELOTPAL and Senior PI Nitin Phatangare, the Jaripatka Police Team consisting of Psi Devkate, Wahab Desai’s milk, Constables Ganesh Gupta, Anis Khan and Pawan Yadav have gone up.
With the help of local police, the city police arrested Kanha on July 27 and also restored Jewelry worth RS6.38 Lakh from his residence.
Further investigation is active.
