Pune: Former MP member BJP Kirit Somaiya on Monday claimed he was stopped by the police in Karad while he was heading to Kolhapur to prove allegations of corruption towards Minister Hasan Mushrif, a MLA from Kagal in Maharashtra Regency.
A few days ago, Somaiya accused Mushrif, MLA from Kagal in Kolhapur, pampering corruption and holding the ‘benami’ entity on behalf of his relatives, the accusation was baseless at the last.

Somaiya on Sunday claimed he was prohibited from entering Kolhapur with the District Authority quoting law and order and security issues after allegations of corruption against Mushrif.
Pelhapur Police Shailesh Balkawde told PTI that the district police team reached Karad, and Somaiya was stopped at the Karad train station and served a copy of the order (debt).
“After we told him that he was forbidden to enter the district, he worked together and will now return after overcoming a press conference in Karad,” the official said.
Somaiya on Sunday displays orders from Kolhapur Rahul Rekhawar collectors who said the first had been banned from entering the district under the 144 IPC “considering the threat to life and the possibility of law and the situation of his order because of his visit”.

Senior Inspector Sunil Kambu from the Navghar police station in Mumbai has also issued a notice to Somaiya, asking him to follow the orders of the Kolhapur government.
Somaiya’s residence in Mulund in Mumbai fell into the jurisdiction of the Navghar police station.
Somaiya has mentioned the development as a “Dadgiri” government Uddhav Thackeray.
Maharashtra BJP Chief Chandrakant Patil has called the “Dictator” movement and said the Thackeray government would not be able to withstand Somaiya’s voice.
Patil said the government of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) tried to suppress Somaiya’s voice, which exposed the “corrupt” minister.
Police Delhi recently arrested a terrorist who planned to execute subversive activities in Mumbai, the BJP leader said, accused “while terrorists roamed freely under the MVA government, around 150 police surrounded Somaiya’s house”.
