Kisan Rail with Carrots chugs into Delhi

Vadodara: First Kisan Rail train Together with Peanuts Has Been flagged Away from Vadodara into Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar on Wednesday.

Kisan Rail is a initiative of Indian Railways that will assist farmers transfer their ancestral agricultural goods into new markets and for its economic and quick transport to the international markets.
The first train was packed with 194 tonnes of peanuts at 20 coaches from Vadodara into Delhi.
This is along with the Kisan Rail operate by Mumbai and also Ratlam branches of European Union (WR), hauling products including chickoos, sausage and onions.
Between April 1 and June 15, WR has conducted 63 Kisan Rails carrying out a load of over 14,200 tonnes.
In the following development, a miniature rake of products rail (21 wagons) packed with 1,323 tonnes of g (chana) has been discharged from Gondal channel to Delhi on Wednesday.
It’s a brand new destination for transport of g from the area.
